Position: Senior Sales Engineer
Job Brief
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer that has both technical expertise and soft interpersonal skills, including business acumen, presentation skills, customer relationship-building, engagement strategies and having a thorough understanding of the industry.
Principal Responsibilities
Become an expert in the operation and application of Prime Trust’s unique open banking technology and its advantages over competing technologies
Introduce new client technical teams to Prime Trust APIs, providing a road map and guiding them through daily communications
Become familiar with each new client business model to ensure compatibility with Prime Trust API and service capabilities
Establish appropriate line of communication with each new customer depending on their preference (typically a shared slack channel)
Answer questions and host video calls to solve technical issues
Review and certify client applications to verify that all data is being passed and presented correctly, and edge cases are accounted for
Monitor clients during beta phase in production
Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and internal trainings
Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations, creating records and providing feedback to the development team
Provide support for business development during sales process
Identify potential opportunities and risks within customer business model
Provide ongoing technical account management
Maintain strong communications with internal departments to ensure accurate common understanding of each integration
Help drive future product development
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a B2B technical support role or technical sales role, preferably for a CPaaS or SaaS company
Technical solution expertise in a comparable presales/project manager role able to resolve moderately complex technical problems
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail required
Good written and verbal communication skills required
Must be a quick learner
Willingness to go the extra mile with customers and take initiative
Knowledge of digital asset market and interest in learning more about capital markets is a plus
Must have the ability to read and explain technical documents
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Financial Engineering or studies, or equivalent experience required
