Position: Chargeback Specialist

Job Brief

Prime Trust is seeking a chargeback specialist that will support internal and external clients by completing a variety of tasks ranging from recurring data entry to highly complex operational functions related to card chargeback disputes, ACH reversals, wire recalls and bank information requests.

Principal Responsibilities

Research account holder payment disputes regarding ACH, wire, and card transactions using a variety of systems. Collaborate with internal departments, financial institutions and clients verbally and in writing to collect information and build strong representments

Educate clients by communicating chargeback details and procedures, assist them in responding to disputes by gathering and organizing supporting documentation, present findings to financial institutions and processors

Draft new procedures and provide updates to existing procedures as needed

Maintain records of and apply returns, reversals and fees as needed

Freeze, close and place holds on accounts and funds as needed

Experience and Skills

3 - 5 years experience working in financial operations

Experience with card chargebacks, reversals and representments preferred

Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems and take a proactive approach in issue resolution

Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency platforms, trading and funds movement

Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills

Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from internal team members and customers, and demonstrate excellence in customer service at all times

Able to adapt to frequent changes in a high-growth and fast paced environment

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as accomplish work assignments under minimal supervision, and tight schedules

Must have well developed analytical skills

A strong desire to contribute to process improvement and development

Consistently execute sound judgment

Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

Works efficiently with a pre-defined schedule or set of existing priorities, but can also effectively prioritize situations and emergencies

Experience with MS Office, Excel and G Suite

Education

BS/BA degree a plus or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time position

Salary: $36,000 - $50,000 annually (DOE)
