Job Brief

Prime Trust is looking for Director of Fraud who will own the development and management of Prime Trust’s fraud program. The Director of Fraud reports to the Head of Financial Crimes Compliance and works with stakeholders across Prime Trust and its partners to prevent, detect, investigate, manage, and report fraud. In this role, the right candidate will have the opportunity to build the fraud program from the ground up.

Principal Responsibilities

Define Prime Trust's fraud-prevention strategy

Develop new policies and procedures

Implement systems to prevent, detect, investigate, manage, and report fraud

Build and manage a high-performing team of fraud specialists

Manage relationships across operations, product, and technology

Respond to inquiries from partners, customers, and law enforcement

Experience and Skills

7+ years of experience in fraud prevention, investigations, and loss management for fintech, banks or payments

Successful track record of building and enhancing fraud-mitigation strategies

Multiple years of experience developing and leading teams

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Strong focus and attention to detail in a rapidly changing environment

Thorough understanding of fiat and crypto payment channels and their vulnerabilities

Working knowledge of Python or SQL skills a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Advanced degree (e.g., JD) preferred

CFE, CFCS, or other relevant certifications preferred
